Psychological Aspects of Prevention of Sexual Risk Behavior with Attention to Attitudinal Changes in Adolescents

Sexual risk behavior is a phenomenon affecting physical and mental health of an individual. In this paper, the psychological aspects of specific types of sexual risk behavior with attention to its causes as well as its consequences are presented. It is focused on a developmental period of adolescence in the context of the risk behavior syndrome in adolescents. Furthermore, effective approaches to preventive activities are discussed. As for the objectives of programs, the main aim is to influence the attitudes of adolescents. These changes should be reflected in their behavior and can be measured. The paper projects a questionnaire for attitudes towards sexual risk behavior of adolescents entitled Inventory SP-20 that is also used in a research design. In the experiment, changes in attitudes within the preventive programs are measured. The change can be an indicator of effectivity of the programs. Attachment and Its Influence on Adolescents' risk behaviour

This thesis aims to explore a topic of attachment and its influence on adolescents' risk behaviour. First, the theoretical part provides an overview of important milestones of the developmental period of middle adolescence. Afterwards, it introduces the concept of attachment and finally, it deals with risk behaviour with great emphasis on researches addressing the substance abuse, antisocial behaviour and sexual risk behaviour in the Czech Republic. The practical part focuses on correlation between attachment styles (secure, preoccupied, dismissive avoidant and fearful avoidant) and risk behaviour using a questionnaire survey. In addition, it deals with the prevalence of above-mentioned types of risk behaviour and their relationship. Survey dealing with the prevalence of risk behaviour showed that respondents of this research were more likely to engage in risk behaviour in comparison to participants of other studies. It was also confirmed that there was a close association between different types of risk behaviour, so it could be beneficial to perceive them as a unitary syndrome. Evaluation of preventive program "Prevention of unplanned pregnancies and abortions "

The aim of the thesis is the evaluation of the prevention program of the National Initiative for Life, o.p.s. "The prevention of unplanned pregnancies and abortions," which is designed for pupils of 9th elementary school. The theoretical part will be devoted to basic definitions related to the prevention of sexual risk behavior in primary schools. Furthermore, the issue of teenage pregnancy and the risks of abortion. The conclusion will be presented preventive program "Prevention of unplanned pregnancy and abortion." The practical part will deal with the evaluation of the prevention program at several elementary schools in the Region. As a research tool, a questionnaire will be used to pretest-posttest principle.
Early sexual experience of adolescents girls

Risky sexual behavior is a phenomenon which can have a negative impact on physical, psychic and social aspects of young girls' lives. This paper is focused on some specific issues of the voluntary premature sexual intercourse of girls before and after the age of 15. Listed are mainly psychological aspects of this phenomenon but also legal regulations relating to early sexual activities of adolescents. The paper deals with the main factors that contribute to the desire for early sexual experiences, further with potential consequences of this behavior and with the importance of prevention of this type of risky sexual conduct. In the empirical part of this work, a qualitative research is proposed which focuses on psychological aspects affecting decision-making of girls with different sexual experience as well as on subjective assessment of their conduct. Furthermore, the research proposal deals with the issue of risk behavior. In addition, in subsequent interviews the tendency for drug abuse will be examined.
